Join us for our weekly Quaker social get-together on zoom! This group started with Friends from Southampton Meeting during covid lock-down, and we enjoy it so much that we have just kept going. Everyone is welcome from across the area and beyond, and do feel free to drop in and out as you like.
5 January 2025 at 10:45 – 11:45
Venue: Friends Meeting House, 1a Ordnance Rd, Southampton, SO15 2AZ
The easiest way to discover Quakers is to simply come along to one of our Sunday meetings, and see if you like it. We sit in gathered silence for an hour, with occasional spoken ministry as anyone feels moved to speak. After notices, the kettle goes on for friendly conversation over tea and coffee. All welcome, newcomers, visitors and old friends alike.

On the third Sunday of the month, our Meeting for Worship is followed by a bring and share lunch. There is always plenty to go round, so do please join us whether or not you have something to bring.
Then from 1pm to 2pm we hold a talk or presentation, often with a guest speaker.
This month we will be watching the keynote talk by Ben Pink Dandelion from the recent conference on 'The Future of British Quakerism'. There will be further opportunity to discuss this online with other Friends across Hampshire & the Islands on Saturday 8th February.
